Those who prefer to explore the most beautiful sides of winter without skis have the best opportunity on the winter hiking trails. A horse-drawn carriage ride also offers impressive impressions and one or two insider tips for a stop. By the way, Ramsau is considered to be the municipality with the most horses in Austria, and it is impossible to imagine the village without these noble animals.
For alpine skiers, the proximity to the 4-mountain ski area with Planai, Hauser Kaibling, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm is ideal and, with the bus stop directly in front of the Engelhardt-Hof, can also be reached car-free in a few minutes.
